To all our patients, it is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of Dr. Leslie Landecker after his battle with cancer.
At Eyes Plus Ears, we strive to continue to provide the same level of eyecare you’ve grown accustomed to over the years.

Dr. Landecker attended medical school in Cape Town, South Africa. In 1979, he moved to Canada and completed his ophthalmology training at the University of Toronto.
After completing his studies, he started his first practice in Sault Ste Marie.
1984, he relocated his practice to Newmarket where we continue to run it today in its new location on Leslie Street.
Dr. Landecker was a general ophthalmologist and he was honored to look after the patients of Newmarket and the surrounding areas. He had the pleasure of seeing his first patients grow and start families of their own.
His patients’ care has been taken over by Dr. Amy Sze.
