Dr Sze graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong Medical School (QS World University ranking of 38) in 2004 with multiple scholarships and awards and was on The Dean’s list in four consecutive years prior to graduation. Subsequently, she completed two years of basic surgical training in Neurosurgery, Vascular surgery, plastic and orthopedic surgery at the university affiliated Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong.

After being granted membership in surgery from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Dr Sze went on to complete six years of ophthalmology training at the Hong Kong Eye Hospital, the top university affiliated tertiary referral eye centre in Hong Kong. She further sub-specialized in medical and surgical retina. She obtained fellowships in ophthalmology from the College of Ophthalmologist of Hong Kong in 2012, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2012) and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (2020).

Dr Sze is a skilful surgeon and retinal specialist with over 16 years of surgical experience in providing ophthalmology service including, but not limited to, the diagnosis and management (both medically and surgically) for all retinal related disease (Age related macular degeneration, Diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion e.t.c), glaucoma, oculoplastic disease and anterior segment disease (e.g pterygium). Dr Sze can communicate fluently in English and Cantonese and enjoys meeting new patients.

In her free time she loves to cook, stay active, travel and spend time with her family and friends.
